Galaxy Secondary
School, an independent, coeducational, privately endowed school under the management
of academicians was established in 2050 by Jibanath Jaishy and Indira Devi
Shrestha to strive for quality education to the people of far western. With
unwavering dedication and resilience, the couple transformed their vision into
reality, establishing our school as one of the pioneering institutions in the
region.
Since its inception the school has
consistently strived for quality education, aiming to foster an environment
where students can excel academically and personally. We take pride in our
outstanding results in both regional and national level examinations,
reflecting our commitment to excellence. In our pursuit of excellence we aim to
provide our students with engaging and dynamic learning experiences and review
the strategies we use for promoting and monitoring the quality of learning and
teaching.
Many of our graduates successfully
settled into prominent roles across various fields, showcasing the
effectiveness of our holistic approach to education. Our mission is to nurture
students into future leaders who are equipped with the skills and values
necessary to thrive in a dynamic world.

modern teaching tools and techniques, ensuring that our educational practices

We impart
education by integrating proven, effective class teaching methods with modern
infrastructure and technology. We emphasize on activity based teaching for
which we create a suitable environment and focus on learning needs of each
students rather than a predetermined set of pattern. We intend to inculcate a
strong sense of discipline and hard work in our students; thus nurturing them
to face global challenges.
Competition With Self: A student at Galaxy is always competing but not with others, rather this competition is with self. We do not let a student succumb to competition.
Learning Modalities: A combination of projects, real life exposure, audio-visual presentations, class room teaching, experiential learning and brainstorming activities are used to make learning fun, exciting and interesting. We positively encourage everyone to be curious about the world around them, practical in their learning and divergent in their thinking.
